How e-mobilio uses Chargetrip to help sell more EVs

Making EV adoption easier for everyone

Choosing an EV can be complex, and for many drivers, going electric feels overwhelming. They don’t just need to choose a car; they have to consider charging, infrastructure, home installation, subsidies, and real-world range.

e-mobilio is tackling this complexity head-on. As an EV selling platform, they help car dealerships, fleet operators, and insurance companies guide their customers through every aspect of EV adoption, from choosing the right vehicle to understanding charging.

To make EV adoption easier, e-mobilio integrated Chargetrip’s routing and range visualization tools into their EV selling platform. To understand the impact of Chargetrip tools, we spoke with e-mobilio’s Senior Product Manager, Jakub Mueller.

Solving range anxiety with the Range Spider

For many first-time EV buyers, range is the biggest question mark. That’s why e-mobilio integrated Chargetrip’s Range Spider to give customers a clear, visual representation of how far they can actually drive.

Instead of showing a single range number, the Range Spider adapts dynamically to factors like weather, terrain, and battery health, helping drivers understand:

  • How their chosen EV will perform in summer vs. winter

  • How much range they’ll get on highways vs. city driving

  • What a typical daily commute or road trip will look like

Jakub Mueller: "Our goal was to tackle range anxiety, and help customers feel confident that EVs fit their lifestyle. Range visualization plays a huge role in making that happen. The Range Spider gives our customers a high-level, realistic view of how far they can drive.”

Showing drivers exactly when and where to charge

Displaying charger locations isn’t enough. e-mobilio realized that a basic station map didn’t answer drivers' key concerns, like how often they’d need to charge, where the best stops are, and whether charging would slow them down on longer trips. By integrating routing, they give customers a realistic picture of EV ownership before they buy. The platform calculates charging stops based on real-world conditions like battery size, terrain, and weather, showing exactly where and when they’ll need to stop.

Jakub Mueller: "We use routing to educate soon-to-be EV drivers helping them understand charging, how often they'll need to charge, and that the charging network is already good enough to get going."

Turning dealerships into EV experts

e-mobilio works with over 350 car dealerships and multiple OEMs, providing them with the tools to confidently sell EVs. With Chargetrip’s routing and range tools embedded in their platform, these dealerships can now:

  • Show customers how easy charging is instead of just telling them

  • Eliminate hesitation by demonstrating real-world EV usability

  • Increase EV sales by giving customers confidence in their decision
